Twenty Eight of Displaced are Children

The American Red Cross, Greater Richmond Chapter, is helping forty one Chesterfield County residents displaced by a fire last night at the Bermuda Run Apartments in the 2600 block of Mangowood Run Drive.

The Red Cross located lodging for the displaced, 28 who are children. Many also needed help with food and clothing. Red Cross caseworkers will meet with the families today to discuss long range recovery plans.

Five Red Cross workers responded to the fire.
